Intimate panties for my ass!
I told you about it on Instagram several weeks ago (months in fact!) about this: I decided to stop the pill . After years of swallowing these little magic pills daily, alternating for a time with an IUD, I decided to stop. I did not make this choice on a whim but well in a thoughtful way. The cause ? The need to go back to something healthier.My IUD and its inconveniences had however made me return to the comfort of the pill... A very relative comfort since, very quickly, I began to no longer support it as before: between my breast pain during ovulation and at the end cycle, my migraines , my recurrent fungal infections , my vaginal dryness or the loss of my libido , my choice was quickly made! This is how I found natural cycles and no longer punctuated by the hormones I ingested. And that's also how I rediscovered the “joy” of menstruation , I who hadn't seen the color of it for years. With that, it was a return to the use of pads, tampons and other devices dedicated to the period . Happiness what!I confess that it is something that I did not miss! I've always hated having my period. I was therefore absolutely not disturbed by the fact of no longer having birth control. I've always hated the contact with sanitary napkins, whether thin, thick, discreet or otherwise… they have always been very unpleasant to wear in my opinion! So, I wanted to do things differently this time and move on.
I use tampons during the day, but at night I prefer to use panties now.
For the night, I decided to give up the classic sanitary napkins. So I switched to period sexy lingerie . You have probably come across it while browsing the web. We talk about it a lot these days. So I decided to test. I opted for two models of these intimate panties. Impossible to tell you which brands it is because, for once, I didn't pay attention to it, stupidly clicking on ads that appeared in my Instagram or Facebook feed (ads work well on me…). As a rule, it runs small. I found this observation in many testimonial articles. And that seems true because the two models I own run rather small.
At first I was worried it wouldn't absorb well and would see some leaks. This fear was motivated in particular by the fact that these g string underwear are very very thin. I was afraid that the absorbent "mattress" of these sanitary panties would not be effective. So I did a first test during the day which turned out to be positive. I did not have to deplore any leaks despite a fairly large flow. So I decided to use them at night. Since then, I have been using them every night during my period. On the other hand, I can't manage to use them during the day because I can't stand the feeling of humidity quite badly when I'm "conscious"! During the day, I therefore use tampons, having been unable to bring myself to use a cup.
With the return of the rules, came other inconveniences: menstrual pain!
I had absolutely not missed those. But, fortunately for me, they are much less violent than before. As a teenager, I suffered a lot during my periods, writhing in pain every month. That's what motivated me to take the pill a few years later when I entered working life. It was becoming very disabling for me. With the pill, I stopped having these pains.
